Dear Prospective Buyer,

Thank you for visiting and considering this home. It is a lovely home on a quiet street full of wonderful neighbors. Our family has happily lived here for over nine years and we'll miss it dearly.

The home is filled with wonderful natural light. We woke up every morning to the sun rising over the hills and palms into the bedroom windows, and the grand living room bay window fills the front of the home with sunlight all day. It is an incredible place to sit and read, or gather loved ones in the warmth of the sun.

The home is nestled between two gardens. The front garden provides a green buffer between the house and the street, and creates a calm, welcoming entrance. The backyard garden is a very private and serene green retreat. You can hear church bells while sitting underneath the umbrella-like avocado tree and forget you're in a big city.

The layout of this block of Revere Avenue, combined with the steep hill on one end makes it private and quiet, as through traffic generally passes through adjacent streets. It has a narrower roadway than other blocks in the area, which further calms traffic. Our block is full of lovely neighbors who chat in the street and when tending to their front gardens. Children play and people walk their dogs down this block.

Neighborhood

 

 

Bayview, just south of Islais Creek, is a community intent on reinventing itself as an artist's colony and gardening mecca. Both the Hunters Point Shipyard Artists Open Studio and Flora Grubb Gardens are cases in point.
